The gang launched a coordinated assault on the armoured van, overpowered the security officers, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police responded swiftly, leading to a fierce shootout.

During the confrontation, one of the suspects was shot in the leg. Instead of surrendering, the injured robber reportedly raised his weapon and shot himself in the head, dying instantly at the scene. His accomplices managed to escape with the stolen money.

Police have intensified the manhunt for the remaining suspects.
